Part-Time RN

Filutowski Eye Institute is currently seeking a Part-Time RN to join our ASC Staff.  The position is 2-3 days a week, no weekends, holidays, or on-call. Candidates should be detail oriented, outgoing, and flexible and must be able to travel to both Lake Mary and Daytona Beach locations. ACLS certification is required. A background in Ophthalmology is preferred but not required.

Medical Receptionist

Filutowski Eye Institute is currently seeking an outgoing, dynamic, friendly, and customer service oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist/ Patient Specialist in our Lake Mary office. Part-Time ASC Assistant

The Filutowski Eye Institute is currently seeking a Part-Time, day shift Assistant/Technician to join our Ambulatory Surgical Team. The candidate must be flexible and able to travel to both the Lake Mary and Daytona Beach locations on surgery days.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Aseptic Technique
  • Instrument Cleaning, Disinfecting and Sterilizing
  • Assisting in the Operating Room and/or Special Procedure Room under the direction of the RN and/or Surgeon
  • Scrubbing for Ophthalmic surgical procedures
  • Stocking, cleaning, organizing within the ASC and Clinic
  • Assisting in LASIK surgery

Surgery Scheduler

Filutowski Eye Institute has an immediate opening for a full-time Surgery Scheduler to join our Practice.  We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented and organized individual. Candidate must have effective written and verbal communication skills, is able to establish priorities, multi-task, and be able to think outside of the box.

This position requires a high level of patient interaction in person and on the phone as well as administrative work.  Team work is essential. This position will primarily be located in our Daytona Beach and Lake Mary locations, however  travel between all 3 offices is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling surgeries, procedures, pre and post-operative appointments and follow ups.
  • Create and review surgical packet information with patients.
  • Works closely with Clinic and Ambulatory Surgical Center staff to ensure chart preparation is complete, accurate and meets ASC guidelines.


  • High School diploma
  • Electronic medical health records experience a plus
  • Bilingual a plus, but not required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation as travel is required
